Applying these understandings to nature will enable the student to know God as Creator, to become an informed participant in the conservation of the environment, and to make personal life decisions based on the philosophy of the Catholic Church
To instill in students a Catholic appreciation for all life and the order of the universe, which permeates all aspects of the science curriculum.
* To acquire an understanding and mastery of key scientific concepts and ideas.
* To develop a proficiency in critical and creative thinking and problem solving.
* To prepare students to interpret everyday events in terms of scientific concepts and principles.
* To prepare students for post-secondary work in science and related fields.
