Community Service Corps.
The Community Service Corps (CSC):
The Community Service Corps (CSC) is a unique organization in the United States. Housed in the archdiocesan and private high schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, CSC provides opportunities for high school teens to put their faith into action through service. It is an extra curricular activity which requires the teens’ most precious commodity- their time. After school and on weekends, young people gather to serve in their schools, parishes and local communities. Through CSC young people experience a deepening of their faith and a realization that the call to serve is not for a privileged few, but for everyone.
The Community Service Corps at Little Flower is moderated by Ms. Stankiewicz. Each religion class nominates a CSC representative who informs her class of the numerous CSC opportunities throughout the year. Further information is located on the CSC bulletin board next to Room 265.
