Prospective LF Students

From the Desk of Sister Donna

Blessings!  Thank you for taking the time to check out our website!  This is a special WELCOME to our potential CLASS OF 2020!!!

Besides visiting our website, we encourage you to visit Little Flower as you shadow one of our students.  Definitely mark your calendar to visit us on Thursday, November 13, on Universal Visitation Day.

You will find a great mix of future friends here—people of many different backgrounds, personalities and interests.  There is a place for you among them to be your own person.  Our dedicated and committed administration and faculty will provide you with a welcoming, safe and caring environment.

Girls choose Little Flower because they want to be here.  You can be outgoing or quiet—individual differences are valued rather than rejected.   The diversity of our students is celebrated.  Coming from so many experiences, our students are enriched as much as from each other, as from their highly skilled teachers.  This helps to prepare them for the challenges of the real world.

Your family will find us responsive, caring, as well as conscious of the financial sacrifice they make to provide you with a Catholic education.  Through the generosity of our Alumnae and friends, we are able to discount the tuition of our students through our Little Flower Need-Based Grants.  Our current students are receiving $730,000 in assistance during this new school year.  If your mother is a graduate of Little Flower, you would automatically receive our Legacy Grant ($1,000 per year) as a way to say “thank you” for perpetuating Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls.  Have you seen the other means of financial assistance in this Admissions section?

These are challenging times for Catholic schools but Little Flower remains strong, stable and focused on the future.  We are proud of our 75-year tradition, yet we take the necessary steps to adapt to the needs of today’s students.

Mrs. Kerr, our Admissions Director, and I look forward to seeing you and your parents/guardians at the various High School Nights and most of all, on Thursday, November 13, right here at Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls!

Thank you for taking the time to read all of the pertinent information under  Admissions, and if you have any questions, Mrs. Kerr is always happy to  give assistance.  (215-455-6900, Ex. 162)   God bless you!
