70% of Little Flower students receive financial aid from the school’s internal budget. Certain external programs are also available to help make tuition more affordable for families.

All eighth-grade girls are encouraged to take the annual Little Flower Scholarship Examination. Students who perform exceptionally well receive scholarships, which are renewable yearly provided they meet certain academic criteria. The fee for the Scholarship test is $25. The Academic Scholarship test will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 3:30 to 6:30 pm.
Saint Therese Scholarships
Partial scholarships ($7000 over 4 year/$1,750 per year) are awarded to students demonstrating excellence in service and leadership, and who are working to the best of their intellectual ability. One student from each Archdiocesan elementary school may be recommended by their teacher or grade school principal. Awardees will be notified by the end of January.
Fine Arts Scholarships Registration Form
We offer partial scholarships ($7,000 over 4 years/$1,750 per year) for students entering the Fine Arts Program in the ninth grade. There are specific guidelines for these scholarships each year including: enrollment in the Studio Art, Vocal Music or Instrumental Music program all four years, maintaining a specific grade point average, as well as a good discipline/attendance record. One scholarship is available in each of the following categories:
*Instrumental Music -- Students must register for the Scholarship by Friday, October 28, 2016.

Ellis Grants Application Form
Ellis Grants provide financial aid for girls from single-parent families or families with one or more parent who is certifiably disabled, living in the Philadelphia area. Qualified students must apply annually by March 1. While eighth grade students are invited to apply, more emphasis is placed on upper-class applicants. Students are required to maintain a 75 average in their subjects. Application can be made beginning January 31st.
Maguire Scholars Program Application Form
The Maguire Foundation, in partnership with the Faith in the Future Foundation, will award $3,000 per-year scholarships to at least six students in each of the eighteen qualifying Philadelphia area Catholic High Schools. The current program is specific to eigth graders entering the High School Class of 2021as of Fall of 2017. The scholarship is renewable for each of the four years of high school, as long as the Maguire Scholar maintains standards consistent with the qualifications listed on the application. Deadline is December 16, 2016.

One Smart Aid application is required to receive assistance from Little Flower, TAP, and BLOCS (listed below). The fee for the application is $25.00, payable by debit or credit card. We recommend that you begin the application process November 2016. The awards will be announced on a rolling basis starting in January, 2017. You will receive notice of tuition assistance from Little Flower, -not Smart-Aid. Little Flower school code is 13053. We are offering two nights to help with the application
process: Wednesday, January 25, 2017 and Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
Little Flower Need-based Grants
The supportive alumnae and generous benefactors of Little Flower provide grant money to families who are identified as needing financial assistance via their Smart Aid application. The majority of students receive a grant of some amount.
Tuition Assistance Program
The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) is an Archdiocese of Philadelphia program that offers assistance based on financial need.
BLOCS includes grants made available from businesses that participate in the Educational Improvement Tax Credit or the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit, a program for students who live in the area of an “under-performing school.”
CHARLOTTE DRUMMOND MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Charlotte Drummond Memorial Scholarship is a legacy scholarship that keeps the spirit of Charlotte Drummond and her dedication to Catholic education alive by offering one $2,000 scholarship annually, beginning in the 2017-2018 academic year. Application
