Diocesan Scholars Program

In the Spring of Junior year, a select number of high-performing students at Little Flower are invited to compete for positions as Diocesan Scholars. Candidates for the program take part in a rigorous selection process that includes a review of their high school records, confirming evaluations by members of the faculty, submission of a qualifying essay to the selection board, and a personal interview with the board. Candidates who are recommended through this process to the Office of Catholic Education are assigned a placement at one of several participating colleges. The student takes four courses at Little Flower and two tuition-free courses each semester at the college.

During the 2017-2018 school year, Little Flower will have five Diocesan Scholars attending classes at LaSalle University and one Diocesan Scholar attending Manor Junior College.
