Two (2) Hour Delay Schedule

The School District of Philadelphia and the Office of Catholic Education have included a "two-hour delay" as one option in the event of inclement weather.

This option would allow schools to open later rather than cancel the entire school day.

The delay would be announced on major radio and television stations as "All Philadelphia and Parochial Schools will open with a two-hour delay."

The two-hour delay schedule is attached. If this decision is made, the two-hour delay schedule will replace the Bell # schedule of the day. The school day will begin with homeroom at 10:00 AM, followed by 30-minute class periods. The 7th period dismissal will be 2:06 PM 8th period dismissal will be 2:39 PM.

The school building will be open and accessible to staff and students who arrive early. Students will go to their lockers and then report to the auditorium where they will remain until the homeroom period.
